Reference 5066A (steel)
Launched in 1998 following the introduction of the 5060A, the 5066A took the main design cues and proportions of the 5060A. The main changes were the addition of a display caseback as well as a more traditional block font to the date wheel. Around 2004, the model’s luminous material was changed to superluminova instead of tritium.

Starting around 2004, Patek switched to the use of superluminova for the dial and hands. These versions are generally less sought after compared to tritium examples as they offer less of a vintage look. Photo credit: Watch Club
Reference 5066J (yellow gold)
The 5066J is one of our favorite references in the Aquanaut range and it is quite rare. The combination of small case size and yellow gold goes against today’s trends and we love it.
